Werner Ebm - Co-founder, CEO of EPG and Chairman of the Advisory Board

Under Mr. Ebm’s visionary leadership, EPG has developed more than 150,000 m2 of prime commercial real estate in Prague over the past 20 years, including the award winning 115,000m2 mixed use commercial center “Palladium”, located in the heart of Prague. Werner Ebm holds law (Juris Doctor) and economics degrees from the University of Vienna, Austria. He also graduated from Harvard Business School with highest honors as a Baker Scholar. After working with The Boston Consulting Group in the USA and Germany, Werner Ebm founded EFS, an international strategic business consulting corporation, operating in Austria and the United States with various business divisions. In 1990, Werner Ebm and Isabella Ponta founded the European Property Group (EPG) , a real estate company conducting business in Central and Eastern Europe. In 2007 Mr. Ebm successfully sold EPG’s main assets, notably the Palladium and all associated service companies. He subsequently launched and continues to manage the EPG investment fund, EPG Global Property Invest, with the aim to invest in further exceptionally innovative real estate projects around the world. Based on his profound expertise in real estate development in difficult conditions and volatile markets, Werner Ebm is a preferred partner for private and institutional investors seeking to invest in new and/or rapidly and/or unsteadily growing markets.


Isabella Ponta - Co-founder, COO of EPG and Member of the Advisory Board

Under Ms. Ponta's organizational leadership, the group built “Palladium”, the award-winning 115,000m2 mixed use commercial center in downtown Prague. The group, founded in 1990 by Ms Ponta and Werner Ebm, built the first “western” style class A office building in Prague after the fall of the iron curtain, and has since developed and managed numerous commercial real estate developments. In 2007, the group employed more than 100 real estate professionals in Development and |Asset Management. After the successful sale of Palladium and related service companies in 2007, the European Property Group launched an investment fund established to invest in innovative real estate opportunities worldwide. While completing an MBA at the University for International Business and Economy in Vienna, Isabella Ponta began her career in a start-up software team. There she was in charge of Software Development Quality Management, working both in Vienna, Austria, and Palo Alto, California. She also worked in several divisions of the consulting group EFS in Vienna, including Human Resources and Strategic Management Consulting, mainly in the areas of Quality Control, Project Management, Controlling and Finance. Since 1996, Ms. Ponta has acted as a patron of the Corporate Art Program at all buildings EPG developed, including commissioning several artworks, sculptures and paintings for various commercial developments. She is also on the board of the American “Salzburg Friends Society” supporting the Salzburg Summer Festival.


Hannes Haidl – Legal Project Director

After completing his education for Mechanical Engineering in Austria in 1991 Hannes Haidl started his career on contractor's side working for international curtain walling companies (AFC, Seele Ltd) collecting work experiences as Technical Project Manager from design to complete realization of a large number of Curtain walling Projects inter alia in the UK, Germany, Austria, Poland, and Hong Kong. In 2005 Hannes Haidl received his degree in law from Karl Franzens University in Graz. He is registered Mediator at the Austrian Ministry of Justice.  Mr Haidl joined as the EPD Team as Legal Project Manager in 2005, taking over responsibility for all General Contractor related legal issues such as negotiations of Amendments to GC-Contract, Claim defense, Contractual Management of all Consultants Contracts, issue of legal guidelines for the project execution team, Insurance Management, etc.


Courtney Adams – Head of Research

Courtney Adams gained extensive knowledge of the CEE market as well as substantial experience in market research during more than four years of research and project execution with an Austrian executive search firm focused on CEE. Ms. Adams joined the European Property Group in September 2005 and has worked in a number of capacities for the company. In addition to project responsibility in the Palladium center management team, she accompanied the due diligence and forward sale processes in conjunction with the sale of Palladium. Since March 2007, Ms. Adams has worked on the launch of the Fund including building up the research operations and executing local market research. Ms. Adams speaks fluent English, German, and intermediate Czech.


Lubos Kojan – Technical Engineer

Lubos Kojan graduated from the Czech Technical University with an Engineering degree in 1995. In the same year, he joined the EPD team and has since played a critical role in building up networks and systems, and developing schemes for technical building equipment, from conceptualization to fit out. Mr. Kojan has been instrumental not only in designing the low voltage technology for Palladium but also for project controlling and implementation of his design. Mr. Kojan speaks Czech, German, English and some Russian.


Dalibor Pasuld – Architect

Dalibor Pasuld graduated from the University of Zagreb as an Architectural Engineer in 1993. Mr. Pasuld joined EPG as the company internal architect in 1993 and has since played a key role in all stages of EPD developments, from planning and conception to tenant fit out. He is instrumental in conceptualizing retail and mixed use projects. Mr. Pasuld speaks German, English, Czech, Croatian and some Russian.
